1 Thessalonians 5:11
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Paul wrote this letter to the Thessalonian Christians but it can still be an encouragement to us today.  We are to build each other up and encourage one another.  When we look at the society we live in today, it is very easy as Christians to become discouraged.  The world seems to have turned what is wrong to right and what is right is seen as wrong.  When we stand up for the Truth, we are often seen as the one who is intolerant.

But here is the good new--no matter what we have to face on this earth, there is a better day coming.  A day when all of our troubles will be gone and we will no longer remember the troubles we have faced.  But until that day arrives, it is important for us to provide comfort and encouragement to each other.  As we go through the day, let us each try to find ways that we can be an encourager to those around us.
